In the car I've been playing The Beatles Blue Album (effectively the best of the second half of their years). Love it. Goosebumps for me with certain tracks.
Listening on vinyl to The Doors greatest hits, it's brilliant.
For all his many flaws Jim Morrison was a great vocalist & Ray Manzarek's electronic organ play immense.
Still a brilliant album, ahead of its time, 1972.
Especially the A side.
I was too young to have been aware of it at the time, but discovered it in the mid/early 80's.

Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures (contrary to popular belief ... doesn't cause melancholy. If you love the music, gives happiness)
Roxy Music - Roxy Music (yes, one of their albums with an aesthetically pleasing cover)
