Another spectacular day for a short walk. Lewes to Glynde. Watering holes both ends, and some lovely scenery in the middle.

One of my favourite walks takes me from Balcombe station through to Haywards Heath, and a good lunch at The Burrell. It takes in some endearing woodland as well as the Ouse Valley Viaduct and Ardingly Reservoir. Enjoyable in all weathers.

Thanks for pointing that out. Why they cannot have a parking meter, I don't know. I did once ask why there were no rubbish bins up there, and was told that it would mean somebody going up there to collect them.
It's one of my favourite pieces of architecture. Your photograph is a common and iconic way of looking through it.

A few pictures from today. So glad I took the time to enjoy the weather.
Been on an excellent short walk today, just Pyecombe to the Dyke, but it was a great experience to enjoy the weather whilst it lasts. Just an hour and a half.
