    True the buck stops with Bloom, but it is his ball so he calls the tune, even if we don't like it. He's delivered the stadium so I can be disappointed with the players we can't sign but cannot demand he does more. We are in a much better place than we were or I ever expected us to be.

    We ended up with three points less than last season but don't let that stop you suggesting Garcia underachieved with someone else's squad. Poyet signed the players he wanted and probably spent the budget that was supplied to get us to the Premier league leaving nothing for the incoming manager...

    You are assuming he was told the truth about the budget, we will never know so I'm not taking sides on this.

    I feel sad that we will never see the team that Oscar would have built. He did an amazing job given the circumstances which now seem to be so constraining that he must have wanted to walk away after January. I remember Oscar on arrival saying he was looking for a project and turned better...
