I'm just playing devils advocate, seems a lot of people are highly against the death penalty but know that life imprisonment causes many to want to be dead, isn't that torture in itself?
Small cell? Is there any truth in the whole TV in room, pool table, time to work out/exercise, 3 meals a day that you hear about? Doesn't sound like much of a punishment to me..
A lot of people seem to think letting them rot in jail is a much better and more humane thing to do but as you state some crave death so isn't it a worse sentence then having them put down from the start?
I haven't said that everyone convicted should be executed, obviously every case is different, but cases where CCTV and DNA can 100% prove the crime was committed by the accused then... shrug
If you murder a murderer, are you as bad as the murderer? They have murdered the innocent, you have murdered a murderer so in my opinion no, you're not as bad.
