Spending this Summer will firmly boot the "no funds" unsubstantiated lie/rumour into touch. Perhaps the Barnes fee was £750k, with an initial guaranteed £450k plus add ons taking it to £750k? Dyche would obviously like to state the lower figure, to emphasise the miracle of their promotion...- Weststander

That smells completely false. Strange how £1m was available for Grabban, wages saved on ElAbd, Bridcutt and Barnes, followed by significant cash inflow from renewed s/t sales ...... and then no funds available Summer 2014. Someone down the Chinese whispers line is lying I suspect.- Weststander
