I was drinking a bottle of Argie red wine last night. I rarely drink wine but it was very good. Reckon we could swop the islands for the winery and some corned beef? I mean, some decent red and some tinned meat or a rock in the middle of nowhere...no brainer.

Why am I derailing a thread by giving a pretty clear reason for why I am not proud to be British..which is what the first post is about? And I do see differences between nations; many. Have you replied to the right person..or the right thread? Maybe have another coffee and try again?

As I have said before I find nationality a load of nonsense and above all I do not want to be defined, or even more importantly have a culture placed upon me, by my birthplace. This just seems daft and arbitrary. And why on earth would I be proud of being born somewhere? I had no input or say in...
