OK - I see. They get the gross profit margin back on the goods/services that you buy with the e-cash credit, you mean? Yes, they do. So the true cost to the club is not £15/ fan who goes, but only, say, £7 (or whatever)?
Well, the club will make £4k (or whatever) less than they would have made had they not made the offer. They could have just kept all the money they make from the replay. Instead, they're giving some of it back to the fans.
No apology needed! I hadn't thought it through, and you are perfectly correct in what you've said!
Makes note to self: Think before posting and look out for an opportunity to stick it to Bold Seagull *nods and cackles maniacally*
No, but if the club are processing the ticket price refund as an e-cash credit (which they are), you can use the e-cash for beer/pies, where you do get the discount!
Bet it does too! OK, so fans who buy a ticket and don't go will be up to 75p better off then ;)
Back to the main point - for those fans who do go - it's a great offer!
You mean...and get the (up to) 15% extra? hmmm. It's only 15% of £15 though - £2.25... do you think the club will both to check the actual attendance? I suspect the cost of checking will be more than they save.

Thought this was worth its own thread. Well done to the club.
You buy your ticket and they give a full credit to e-cash card within a week of the game.
