It's not just the NRE app as that's how the main TD system works anyway, It can be a bit confusing for those that don't understand it but it's simple enough and it works.
Well it is your responsibility to ensure you get to work on time and if you feel the train your catching is not delivering that then it's up to you to allow more time for your journey.

I'm not missing the point at all, they've done everything they can to keep the line open but it's reached a point where it has become unsafe. It's not a failure or incompetence it's Network Rail doing the job they're supposed to be doing.
Have you not considered the reason workmen appear to be standing around when you go past them is they have to stand clear when a train passes? Unless of course your expecting them to carry on working as the train goes over the top of them?

I very much doubt you've got a clue how a company like Network Rail operates or how long they've been working on that section of line or what they've been doing, You just want to have a moan because your journey to work has been disrupted.
