I often wonder with design of things why couldn't they make cool shit before about '99? why are the ideas we have for design now not thought of in the 80's? I mean that Atari above couldn't have looked good to someone in the 80's surely? I know the stuff we use today will be dated too one day.

Yeah! Had a ruler with a clock and a calculator in it when I was about 6 or 7. I used to think it was the kind of ruler Michael Knight would have used. As I imagine he used a ruler quite a lot.

We didn't have much tech in our house but I remember one Christmas. Yes, CHRISTMAS, being given a scientific calculator to use for my GCSE's. I never figured out how to use it and the school didn't let you use them anyway. And it was a ****ing calculator. For Christmas. I think I spelled boobs...
