Ok. For the sake of consistency I think CMS and Hoskins are undeserving of a place on the 'we're up' list as it's probably still a month until we see CMS at best.
Not on a wind up, I just have a different opinion. Obviously I'm hopefull that Rodriguez hits the ground running and scores because goals are what we desperately need,if he doesn't it won't look so clever shipping Barnes out . No need to get wound up, we just see it differently.
What's to say Rodriguez will score
El-Abd played a string of games when Greer was injured, surely if Dunk was better he would have played
No matter which you spin it Crofts and Bridcutt are no longer in our midfield, though I'm glad we've brought in Stephens
Pound for pound the squad has less...
You're out numbered. I'd give up if I was you. Some people are glass half full, some are glass are half empty. Only problem with it is that the optimistic ones have to tell the pessimists why you're so wrong all of the time. The squad is maybe stronger, the first 11 is weaker IMO.
Upson will be 35 by the time next season starts, and I think i read somewhere that he is having to nurse his knee very carefully game by game. Greer is 33 as is Bruno. That is an archaic defence  . I agree about Kuszczack and the PL move but I could see him going to a Championship big...
All good valid points. Of the players listed I fully expect to see Upson and Kusczcack depart. I think Upson may retire and Kuszczack wants to play in the Premier League, I can't see himstaying if it doesn't look like we're seriously trying for promotion. If those 2 go we have a HUGE hole to fill.
There are a few flaws in that nicely written piece though. Claiming Adam hasn't played much and that CB's don't get injured very often is a strange one seeing as he played about 6 games back to back because Greer was indeed injured. The article also suggests that wingers do succumb to injury...
My concern is that we are close to the play offs now, possibly 1 more player could have bolstered the squad and given us a shot at consolidating a play off place. If Kusczcack,Upson,Lopez,Orlandi,Ankergren,Brezovan and Hoskins leave in the summer when their contracts expire our squad is going to...
The OP's question is quite clear, is the squad stronger. The obvious answer is no. It's not should we have sold this player or that player has such and such a contract length or so and so is coming back from injury. We sold a solid Championship striker, replaced with a loanee and took a gamble...
