Should I be offended by this? :jester:
As I said in my brief review of it - I liken it very much in pace and tone, to Veronica Falls, which in my household is high praise indeed.
Lutine is pretty.
Listening to the Great Pagans one now. Not sure about your 'FFO The Smiths' - sounds more like...
Spam e-mail from Amazon yesterday, plugging their 'Top 10 of 2014'. Was expecting One Direction and Taylor Swift, but fair play to them:
1. Morning Phase Beck
Released in February 2014, Beck’s twelfth album immediately drew comparisons to his critically acclaimed and commercially successful...
I have never heard war on drugs. Bizarrely the hideous sounding combination of Bryan Adams - Deacon Blue - Dire Straits and Mike & the Mechanics are going to COMPEL me to now seek it out.
Dad AND Mum are film stars!
Anyway - some interesting choices of song titles in her catalogue:
much ado about ****ing (2012)
sickerwinter (2012)
birth of penis (2012)
woodchip arthur and his sweaty palms (2012)
LOSING (2012)
Wobbling (2013)
why am i underwater? (2013)

I'm rubbish at writing about music. I can write about football all day, but am utterly incapable of capturing the essence of a piece of music...
A big THIS. Love to do this.
That's how I found, indie-guitar/surf rock combo Honeyrider - in a link from a J&MC track -I think because somewhere on an old label website, someone had refered them (not especially accuartely) as sounding like a cross btween the J&MC and the Beach Boys!
A few more (mini) reviews from me, with thanks again to my new-music personal shopper Buzzer for the steers:
Half Man Half Biscuit - Urge for Offal. I'll let you in on a secret - its heresy, amongst my indie brethren, but I simply don't really GET HMHB. Of course I appreciate the clever...
I think that would just send me to sleep.
In your late night driving scenario, I want one of two things:
1. Some thingto sing along to, to pep me up. Probably, but not exclusively, something with melodies, jangly guitars and a female vocal. St.Etienne / Veronica Falls / Tallulah Gosh /...
