Anyone owning up to the CD I received? I bought three albums today as a result of the Easter Bunny and am currently listening to Habib Koite. Oneida and Leatherface were the other two that took my fancy. Thank you to my bunny.
With the 7 albums bought after Santa that is 10 albums in total...

Yes it was me. It's hard to disguise my love for metal and rock & roll but I do try and mix it up a bit. Maybe next time I will stick to dance, dub, blues and jazz.
So here it is. While I have some of the bands they tend to be on compilations, like Kerrangg and NME giveaways, which reflects that little of this is in my normal sphere of listening. As promised I did listen to it several times and would happily listen again and again, without probably...
Been a bit stressful here and PC is under a dust sheet while room is being painted. But today I am curled up with an iPad and more than halfway through typing the review. Expect something from me today. As I did not know many of the artists and the music styles are not well represented in my...
I agree this has been a bit slow off of the mark. I have now received mine but listening and reviewing may take some time as there are a monumental 42 tracks to review! Luckily I have been assigned a decorating job this weekend which should give me a huge window. From the track listing I am...
It nails my feelings about metal too, but as you might have noticed by the list of tracks on my CD2 for spring hall convert, from the other perspective. What I love about metal is that does not have to be taken seriously, it can be about rocking out and having fun and it is a very broad church.

Don Rendell - a big thank you to my Dad for my love of the Albion and British Jazz. There is so obviously a Miles influence, I nearly included the "So What" cover from the same album. My Dad is also referenced by the uncredited opening...
I have nominated one already but taking a lead (as you were kind enough to send 2 CDs) I am going to nominate The Bells (Blue Potential Version) – Jeff Mills with Montpellier Philharmonic Orchestra to make sure no-one misses out.
Used my emusic subscription to buy Terry Callier, Tony Joe White, Gil Scott-Heron and Fink albums.
NSC Secret Santa definitely worked for me. Thanks Guinness Boy
Can't find the edit button. I am going to hazard a guess as Flex Your Head.
And many thanks to Theatre of Trees for organising.
Right. Why does this post have an "Edit Post" button, but not my previous one?
The Bin's Festival
Many thanks to my Santa for a double CD of delights, most of them new to me. So here is my review. Some of these will definitely be appearing in more detail on my iPod. Classic of course.
CD1 - The Bin’s Night Out
1 Here we go – Mr Scruff. Great opener – I am convinced I...
