That is true, but attending football these days is a far more pleasant experience than it was back then. (Awaits DR link to the "Football is dying on it's feet" thread.....). But then we have yet to go through a poor period on the pitch I suppose.
I wonder what occupancy levels they need to maintain to make money? It will attract more conferences and one-off events I guess, but beyond that it would be very risky to expect a decent occupancy level other than near match days. Oh well, I am sure they know what they are doing.
