Now listened to the episode in full - Ady and Al, you did well not to get a bit narky. They genuinely turned into spoilt children for about a minute or so. Also they were completely missing the point of safe standing, how it would work, and the possibility of it basically not affecting the...
Was so baffled by so much Liz Costa said.
Also Ady said an unintentionally classic line at one point, regarding Anthony Knockaert; "he can't be mercurial all the time".....
But the point is, (it is my semi-educated guess that) those listening on to the Albion Roar on podcast want to hear chat and analysis about game(s) just gone, a la the Tuesday Club, Football Weekly, pretty much all football podcasts.
I'm not having a go - I've enjoyed the podcast. Just think it would do a lot, lot, lot better and have a potentially much wider listenership (probably not a word) if the shows were recorded on the even of or Sunday after a game, a la The Tuesday Club.
But they record the podcast BEFORE the Saturday game, thus they are discussing and reviewing a game from the week previous (ie a game that was played 9 days ago if you're listening on Monday). I'm suggesting they record the podcast AFTER games, rather immediately before a game.
I don't really listen to radio live ever, so I would probably catch it by Friday? I listen to podcasts throughout the week on my commute. If you did the show on Wednesdays it probably would put your show up my podcast listening queue a fair bit, due to it being more relevant.
In an ideal world...
1. Thank you for listening. You're wonderful.

2. When do you usually listen to The Albion Roar? Live or via podcast?
Podcast every time.
3. If it's live, is it usually on FM or the internet?
N/A
4. If it's on podcast, WHEN -...
Really enjoy it, the only thing is (for me as a podcast listener) it's always a game behind, personally I'd prefer it was recorded post-match rather than pre, as they're always discussing and making predictions about a match which has already happened if you listen via podcast, which I'm...
