Andy Bass is always perceptive with his analysis of where we are. Best guest on the Roar in my view. On the odd occasion she's been heard on it, Edna's astute too.
All true, although there needs to be a shift in emphasis. Hyypia's tactics, inflexibility, inexperience and naivety all contributed to a substantial plummet down the table. He also (seemingly irreversibly) contributed to turning JFC and Ince from up-and-coming players to has-beens.
(Deletes El Pres' words. Poor silenced El Pres)
It is quite something that fall in income courtesy of Hyypia's intervention. Be interested to see just how much of a turnaround there has been under Hughton when the results are announced (presumably in a month or two). I suspect, given the hike...
I usually listen to it on my laptop at full blast too. The problem for me isn't so much the overall volume, but usually the volume of the guests, which seems to be much quieter than the presenters. So it's a sound mix issue.
Always enjoy The Roar. My issue is the sound mix. Usually the guest is very quiet (not sitting so close to the microphone), and is often difficult to hear, even with the sound 'turned up to 11' (well, ten, actually), and is not so prominent as Ady and Al.
My question for El(vis) Pres(ley) is how he views our player budget, given the substantial sales of Ulloa and Buckley in the summer (+£10m, perhaps up to c£12m), following on from those of Bridcutt and Barnes in the previous transfer window (c£4m). In that time, to the best of my knowledge...
Good call. Perhaps he can do a double act with Billy Davies. Such a time, setting and occasion would be about the only time I'd be willing to listen to either of them.
