Hi guys - great show... not sure about A Question of Roar personally, but understand the need for content! Thanks for your hard work in creating something entertaining for the love of it.
In fairness I thought you handled it excellently and moved on pretty quickly as soon as you realised that their indignation had no grounding in fact! I loved the way they got all daily mail about the whole thing. I think we now know two people who voted for Brexit!
Yeah it came across that he has a pretty strong opinion of himself. Nonetheless was interesting to hear some of his stories when he got away from his love of Spurs.
Any chance you can get Calde on again at some point?? Would be interested to hear from him a couple of years on from his last...
By all means, don't change it if it is only me that has an issue with it. As it is your show you're entitled to do what you want with it, just my opinion that it's uneccesary or at the least too long and loud!
Sounds like I'm moaning, and I suppose I am! But I honestly have upmost respect...
Continues to be a fantastic show, and always my first listen on a Monday morning. Well done chaps and thanks for giving up your time to bring a valuable broadcasting service to us customers!
However, the intro and outro music is both awful, uneccesary (what other pods have intro music?) and...
Funnily enough love the show, but can't stand that tune!! I'm going to sound like and old fart, but it's too loud when blasting through my headphones...
Totally agree, now having read the chapter myself. That was tabloid radio. Winding him up to get a reaction and leaving it hanging in the air like a bad fart. You guys are normally above that. Would be surprised if he came back on the show.
I think ideally this would be the optimum timing from a podcast perspective. However, would it be a challenge to get the same calibre of guests on a Sunday morning?
Any idea on the split between the number of live listeners v podcast?
