I don't think I've had a set of brake pads wear out ever in a car. It's how you use them. Anticipation and using the gears is the key.- dougdeep

I found that the best and longest lasting diesel is found in Peugeots. I have a 2 litre 206 and it's never given me any trouble and will do 60 mpg, and I don't dawdle.- dougdeep

As long as it has a full year's MOT and it is clean and the price is right then I'd go for it. The diesel engine has barely been run in.- dougdeep
