Not the best right-back in the division but some of his getting beaten was to send Lua Lua in a place that allowed the covering defender to be favourite to block the cross or make it hard to cross well.
Lua Lua has a limited box of tricks:
Collect ball and slow-down, then skin full-back on the outside.
Cut in and shoot with his right.
Pretend to cut in with his right, then use the outside of right-foot to turn and go on the outside.

Sometimes as a defender you allow yourself to be beaten as it takes the attacker into a blind alley. I got the sense a bit of that was going on leading to the second defender blocking the eventual cross or Kaz sending over a poor one from an unpromising position.
