How could they ? are stadium holds 27600 ish and the glory hunters as you call them may well want to go to league matches but can't afford season tickets or wouldn't buy them because they wouldn't be able to make every game. I would rather see 38000 allocation sold than empty seats in our half...

??????? We get get between 24-27000 every home match and there are still thousands wanting tickets for matches, how did you come to this conclusion ?
