It was 60 seats damaged or melted by flares according to CPFC2010 on a BBS thread. Charlton fans did about the same amount of damage in the AW stand but the repair costs are considerably less
I think the noise debate comes out as a draw , magnificent vocal support - Brighton first 15 minutes , Palace last 15 minutes and nothing of note in between.
This season the bus company has put on more buses to supplement the regular timetabled service on matchdays so it doesn't matter that the game is on a Sunday. There were only 4 bendy buses last season now B&H Buses have 18 available to shuttle fans back to the town centre to take the strain off...
For those going to work the following day missing the bus or a last connecting train at Brighton isn't an option but Palace fans wouldn't know about that as long as they wake up in time to sign on.

Last season was a nightmare trying to get a train back after any evening game and the buses were even worse. Even if we were winning after 80 minutes thousands would have left early.
