I deliberately did shut down all the apps because I'm thinking there may be a fault with this phone. The 4s was much better for battery life than this 5 model. Just wondered if others have experienced the same :)

I find them a bit weird too :) Out of interest, how is your battery life compared to a previous phone? I charged my phone last night, turned off all apps and lost 15% overnight! That seemed excessive to me.
