Yes - it was quality- it came back to him in the air and although he had to lean back to get it he contolled the volley into the far stanchion from what looked just inside the box. Good technique.
In difficult conditions against a very young mobile Ipswich midfield I thought he did well. He can retain possession and does look to go forward if possible and retain possession if not. Looked a good tackler as well. To be honest - it was not the night to judge a player properly.

He was excellent. A big fella who was good on the deck, particularly impressive carrying the ball forward. If he was on trial I think he may have played himself into a deal.
