I believe that it is possible that Gus will go back on his Adam El Abd being the best defender at the club and perhaps replace him with a big central defender to win balls in the air and allow Greer to play the football on the ground . Just to throw a name in the plot as the type of player...

I like El Abd but if we are to progress he will be a casualty. What surprises me is that he doesn't give away more penalties with his man handling of strikers.

Be interesting to see what happens when his contract runs out at the end of the season. The offer of a new contract or otherwise will give an indication of our intention and ambitions

It is all a matter of opinions and IMHO Dunk is no better than Greer in the air so I have to disagree with you.

His obvious weakness is his ability or lack of, in the air, especially fora tall man he doesn't win enough headers, but apparently stopped a cert goal today with a block.

I t would have to be a new signing to replace him because Dunk is nowhere near as good as him on the ground and no better in the air, at the moment but maybe one day.
