genius. if this method of resolving the engine problem hasnt permanently fixed it, not convinced doing it again is going to. i'd try opening the bonnet and putting it in front of a radiator, or leave it to air dry on a windy beacon, or use a hair dryer to help dry out the engine. :thumbsup:

ive been told that Calais is no tourist spot. Dieppe is probably more like a proper sterotypical french town that just happens to have a ferry stop. only need to go as far as Newhaven too, though the 4 hour (iirc) ferry trip is to be considered.
