    I had hoped that with the move to the Amex the club's PR and it's general consideration and treatment of supporters might have improved- it clearly hasn't!

    Why should the club really care anyway? With so many season ticket-holders it won't make any difference to the declared crowd or ticket income. it would be 25000 even if no-one turns up - and the on the day costs - staff etc could be reduced!

    In the fifties and sixties a lot more trains ran on Boxing Day. There were also special buses to the Goldstone. As teenagers at that time we could also get to away games in London and the suburbs quite easily - the Underground and local trains were operating. It was also far easier to find...
