The 2012-13 food and drink thread - prices, running out, quality and choice etc

I think you're missing the bigger point here. This mostly isn't about people complaining about prices - it is about people who want to spend money but cant either because; a) there are no suitable products (reduction in vegetarian options from 3 to 1), b) lack of product availability (not...

alarmist given that the self same pie is 2.20 in the Co-op. Azure must be at least doubling the cost price to heat and sell. That's some mark up when your average railway station Burger king uses a maximum 40% mark up for Burgers, 66% for chips and drinks.

They do have pies but these arent ideal for all veggies - but even that is a 66% reduction in veggie options from last year (the veggie curry went, were replaced by veggie noodles and they have now gone and veggie burgers have now gone too).

Increase the price - reduce the choice - skimp a bit on the product and Robert's your mother's brother. Problem solved!

The 2012-13 food and drink thread - prices, running out, quality and choice etc

Probably a small point but last night, I bowled up to order the 4 veggie burgers that have been the staple for my family at evening matches only to be told that they are no longer selling them due to poor demand. The laughable point was that while I waited for my veggie pies, 3 other people...
