The 2012-13 food and drink thread - prices, running out, quality and choice etc

Most of it could be related. Service and, subsequently, queue length is always going to be slow if there is not adequate provision of the menu items. If you get to the front of the queue and find they're out of something then at best you are going to deliberate what you want instead, at worst...

I think you are, yes - I'm struggling to understand your particular brand of thickish.

The 2012-13 food and drink thread - prices, running out, quality and choice etc

As I've posted before, imagine you have breakfast at home around 7 and head off to work 8-1. You then head straight to the ground. You leave the ground at 6 and get home at 7. You're away from home for 12 hours - that's why you might want something to eat on a Saturday. There are numerous...

Have they (ironed out their previous issues)? I've not been to the Amex this pre-season but this thread isn't filling me with confidence that anything* has changed from last season. (* - excluding the increase in prices and the reduction in choice.)

To qualify this, from my own experiences... Cider is my drink of choice and whilst I would never, ever, ever choose Strongbow as my cider, I'd still choose it over lager and ale. Yet, last season, I had far more Harvey's than cider, particularly pre-match and mid-match as I just couldn't face...

The 2012-13 food and drink thread - prices, running out, quality and choice etc

Given the lack of veggie burgers, one would have to assume the same reason - (relatively) low demand. What I'll say is how can true demand levels for any product at the Amex be accurately gauged when... 1. People often don't buy because they can't be served due to the length of queue. 2...

He was talking about veggie BURGERS not pies. I'm surprised and disappointed they've been taken off and completely agree with one of ROSM's points - a lot of kids won't go for a pie, so that leaves them with nothing but crisps. Poor.

The 2012-13 food and drink thread - prices, running out, quality and choice etc

And I can never understand twats like you who can't envisage a situation where, for example, someone has to dash to football after a morning at work and might be peckish between their breakfast at 8am and dinner at 7pm. There are numerous reasons why people may want to grab something to eat at...

The 2012-13 food and drink thread - prices, running out, quality and choice etc

How do you check the contents of the pie without getting into the pie itself? It's a very, very poor show to give a meat pie to a vegetarian - inexcusable in fact. I was given a (meat) burger on 3 consecutive occasions when asking for a veggie pie - fortunately that was a lot easier to spot...
