You can't say that on here, you casually insinuate, by blaming the midfield, that some responsibility lies with 'he who's name should not be taken in vein' .... sir, you invite all manner of vitriolic responses...... "INCOMING"
Really???.... I think what you are really saying is that you won't tolerate criticism of Barnes, but it OK to slag CMS off,..... which is especially galling considering their respective goals from open play stats.
Why is it that the perceived lack of control from cms, is given more prominence than the similar perception of Barnes.... I don't see either having a perfect touch, but why look at this with such a skewed view?
It only needs a slight change in the middle third, the CMS vs service issue is already solved,.... Crofts and a more present Vicente...... but certainly a hold it up striker in support would have made a huge difference last year..... but 1) Gus won't play two strikers, and 2) there is a lot of...
Dont you start,... leave me to my vitriolic hatred of all things Barnes...... Div 1 player,.... lets sell him to someone like Sheff Utd, get a bit of profit and thank gawd we have moved to a higher level player ( with a bit of luck).
.... Oh, I am sorry O guru of all things footy..... no I am not ... knob off,... Barnes is shit at this level and above...... bench man at best.... if he is lucky.
You makes oi larrff.... Barnes is a jobbing attacking player, with little pace, and a need to have 10 shots for every one on target. He links play a bit yes, but he struggles to control the ball, so his assistance in this area is limited. Work in progress, this will have to be something similar...
Cms must stay.... else we will be left with 'Barn door Barnes' who gets penalties and about 10 chances per goal..... A lot of those chances down to hustle activity from cms in the course of him charging about..... Replace Barnes with a more alert, efficient and skilled marksman and our goal...
