No not at all, I personally think the 'special edition' of Fifa is a bit of a con. The extra benefits you pay for can still be achieved from playing the game normally. From everyone I play Fifa with, we only play career mode, online seasons or online multiplayer. Put simply, I won't miss out...

If it's your first Fifa game, I'm fairly sure you'll have no need or interest in the gold edition. Just go to Tesco on release day and you'll probably pick it up for £35.

A question to fellow Fifa players. When in career mode, do you play as yourself only, or the entire team? What's your preference?
