In case it wasn't obvious, I meant the Ducati M600 Monster. I thought it would be obvious because the other 3 bikes I mentioned were around this size engine.- jfs

I think the Hornet, Bandit, Fazer suggestions are good ones for a first proper bike. If you like a little more style, then a Ducati Monster is worth considering.- jfs
