Can anyone recommend some good value summer gloves? Preferably cheap (<£35) and as a lightweight/compact as possible. Thought I'd ask here before buying a random pair online.
IMO the two year period of restriction to 33bhp was perfect, but should have been rolled out to everyone, not just under 21's.
What makes an under 21 with 5 years riding experience more likely to crash than, for example, a 40 year old who has no riding experience? Nothing, it's just age...
Anyone got any tips for waterproof, warm and flexible bike gloves? I've read some reviews on line but none have perfect comments. Can only go up to ~£40, advice appreciated.
I agree with Doc Lynam about the chest, never had any problems even if wearing a t-shirt in cold conditions. If you are cold maybe you need a better jacket or (as suggested) a snood. I have both and couldn't live without.
Guys, thought i'd bump this thread. Having real trouble trying to find my next bike. I've heard 600cc's are silly to restrict because their PWR means they can't go much faster than a 125. I've been told 250cc's are not much different to 125's and there seem to be no 400cc bikes on the market...
Not really, still hunting around. I don't really like the ER5 tbh, but it seems so practical for what I need. However i'm 20, not 40, and this bike doesn't exactly get me excited like a bike should for a twenty year old (looks wise).
I have to restict as i'm under 21, however i've heard it's...
Still looking for guidelines about bike prices. I was offered an ER5, 06 plate, well maintained but 26,000 miles for £1,500. I reckon I could haggle down to £1,400 but how does this rate in terms of value for a bike?
Missed your passed post. Belated congratulations. I'm still looking for a bike. Was going to get a "mid range" bike but might just get a Suzuki and restrict it seeing as they're soooo beautiful.
Also what do people think about bike hunting? I get put off if it's too cheap. For example (here)...
