I am gonna do my first track day this summer.
Only ride a VFR800 not a crazy litre sports bike, but very keen to see how much it will do round the bends.
Bikes are way more dangerous than cars, which could be why. Motorcyclists make up 1% of road users, and account for 40% of all road fatalities, so perhaps the rigorous testing and slowly going up power brackets ia a good thing
I had to re-test after a ban a few years ago under the rules then.
A bit complicated I agree, but defo a good idea. Passing your test on a CB125 then jumping straight on a Fireblade (which was possible back in the day) was clearly flawed.
I think it might be my screen. It diverts the wind straight into my neck and after a while it cuts right thru me.
Have a snood but will perhaps invest in another one. Also a double bubble screen could be in order.
Thanks for the great advice mate.
Have already got
heated grips and a fog insert but the mitts idea is a good one.
Might look a bit daft on my VFR but not sure I care that much.
It seems to be my chest and thighs that get super cold.
Any courier tips for that, or do I just need to man up?

I am absolutely freezing my tits off on my bike at the mo.
Anybody got any recommendations?
Already wear thermal base layers, and have decent winter textiles but still so cold.
The only thing is my textiles aren't gore tex, but I think that only affects their water proof rating not warmth.
Get out in the rain mate.
Makes you a better rider.
I ride all year round and as a result an triple quick when it's try.
Really smooths you out riding a lot in the rain. Helps massively once it's nice and dry.
