Thanks chaps, it was infact SQL which I was referring to. I'm currently a BSA but having some sort of low level knowledge on fairly common programming languages always helps me, and more so the technical folks I work with.

As the thread suggests, is anyone able to recommend a good place to start with regards to learning this language? I know VB and COBOL (old school I know!), eventually I would like to do the Oracle certification but before jumping in at the deep end I'm wondering if there are some good books out...
