True, but I doubt if there would normally be a single pdf of any resolution of the completed issue. If the production team could, as their final job after completing the last section of the programme, produce a low res pdf of the final ID document and send it to him that would save him loads of...

I'd guess that when the InDesign sections were approved by the client they'd be distilled as print-ready PDFs - the only low res PDFs on the system would be of the earlier proofs. A solution for future seasons would be to have a low res pdf prepared of the whole issue.

Nice thought but they'd be 1GB an issue...
