Magnificent work. Surely for 2001/02's programmes and onwards, you could just ask the club for the PDFs?

Brilliant work, Hiney! Any plans to index or tag the programmes, so that if you wished to read the player profile of, say, Garry Nelson in 1987/88, you don't have to go through each one that season to hunt it down?

Thanks for the scans. Together, it must have taken more hours than many of us work in a week. Looking through them, I have to say what a nasty kit we had in the 1993/94 season. Also, there was real variation in the quality of the photography in the programmes. Some of it looks like it was taken...

Just found this gem: Using some 'slide rule maths assessment' (whatever that means), a chap called Duncan Darroch with a great record of predicting league positions, is mentioned in the Albion programme on 19 December 1970. He reckons the Albion (then 19th) will finish 14th at the end of the...

Sorry, I was being facetious. No offence meant. That said, I saw a lovely photo of Ian Mellor on eBay completely ruined by the fact his signature is all over his face. D'oh! At least on your programmes, it's tastefully done.

Allowing Albion programmes to be defaced should be a crime.

By the way, which seasons of Albion programmes featured Football League Review? Would collecting all the Albion programmes from mid-1960s to mid-1970s get you all the back issues of FLR, not to mention more clutter in the house?

Do you have the Brighton v Leeds 1981/82 (match postponed) programme from 19th December 1981? I've only ever come across the one for the re-arranged game on 2nd March 1982, but the collectors' guide lists it as a separate programme... Any help on this appreciated!

Do you scan one page of a programme at a time or do you have 23 scanners on the go, each gradually working its way through an individual matchday magazine?

Will lots of people start decluttering themselves of their programmes now Hiney has digitised them?

No, because you can open up PDFs in Acrobat and then export them to a lower resolution.
