In the main, t's a festival for new and/or unsigned bands so chances are you will not know many bands. This is part of the fun though. It's a cracking festival.
The Suicide of Western Culture were awesome. Had a chat with one of them afterwards and he kindly dug out a CD from his bag and gave it to me
I missed Pond. Double gutting as I arrived at the The Globe pub 45 mins before they were due on around the back of the pub. I decided to grab some food and a beer before heading around the tradesman's entrance with time to spare. But, they had changed their slot and were on whilst I was...
I agree with this and I have been to all bar the first. It is growing a developing nicely and every year more venues are embracing the festival and holding their own events and hosting their own stages; there was even a launderette with a stage and a programme of artists. The buzz around the...

Dear Prudence (pop-rock indie local 5 piece fronted by female in net top and black bra)
Hundreds (Berlin based electronic...
My Thursday definites are currently Porcelain Raft, Francois and the Atlas Mountains, I have a clash with Friends and New Build and think Friends will win out, Niki and the Dove, Django Django. I'll certainly see some other stuff, I want to check out the Blind Tiger venue so I'll drop by there...
The NME stage typically has indie. I think it will be in Horatios at the end of the pier again this year. But don't spend all day there, there's tons of other great stuff on. The programme states the genre of each band along with a brief description so check this as well. You might not get in...
The whole Dome element to the festival seems at odds with the rest of the gigs. And the wristbands have to be 'topped up' so even the promoters are indirectly agreeing it does not sit properly with the rest. I've never been to any of the Dome gigs although I was keen to see Tony Allen the other...
