    There was a faded yet brilliant 50’s clip of Spike parodying US Raymond Chandler-esque film noir. So funny, Hislop was laughing. Something Steve Martin did 25 years later in Don’t Men Don’t Wear Plaid. Love it.

    Resurrecting an 11 year old thread! On Sky Arts just now is a documentary Spike Milligan: The Unseen Archive. Been laughing already, crikey he was a genius.
