I wonder if the club have considered that Pompey will be unable to pay for any damage their fans do at the Amex bearing in mind the genetically challenged nature of some of them.
If Pompey avoid the drop, then what punishment will they actually have had ?
With Rangers its even more laughable as they are still second and in a European place.
Punishment for going into administration should be automatic relegation and a moratorium on promotion for two years.
They've lost 11 games by a single point and drawn 8 games (If I've seen it right). If things had been a little different, they could have had a few more points and be sitting pretty despite the points deduction.
The FL really need to look at harsher penalties for repeat offending. To go into...
Not even in the relegation zone and with a far superior goal difference to thier relegation rivals. If they avoid the drop on goal difference it will be absolutely shameful.
I think they'll get more that 10 points deducted. The punishment is 10-20. for a first offence 10 is appropriate but doing it again and again (and so soon after the last time), then it *has* to be in the region of 15.
One thing I don't understand (well actually there's a lot of things) : how could they spend money when the Administrator was in charge ? I thought the point of an administrator was to try to get them back on track financially. Or had he finished with them before they spunked a load of cash out ?
