The more companies and institutions that push for their closure the better. Perhaps they will eventually get what they deserve even if the FA do not have the balls to do it.
Chanrai has said he wants to buy the club out of administration and then sell it himself later. Isn't this one of the reasons for their present state, he sold the club previously to an unscrupulous man just to get his money back. So why let him do it again perhaps Trevor Birch should...
The point that seems to be missed is that as employers they would have deducted the tax and NI in the case of their employees and as such are only 'looking after it' for HMRC. It was never theirs to use in the first place and if showing it on a wage slip is this not theft.
I was rather amused by Warren Aspinall on the commentary last night when asked about Razak turning down Portsmouth and signing for us he said it was because we are a bigger club than Portsmouth with more prospects and ambition plus he added he would also get paid.
It is also a joke that they continue to ask the FL for permission to sign players out of the transfer window as they only have 14 FIRST TEAM players and one of them is suspended. Don't they have reserves or youth players as a match only entails 11 players and 5 subs 16 in total and they must...
Could not a petition be started by somebody with the know how on line and if it attracted a big following would the FA/ FL take any notice of the public feeling towards these cheats.
What a gutless bunch the FL are they should refuse permission and make them use the players they have as they must have reserves or youth. The FL are not helping them get straight in their financial dealings or helping other member clubs.
If the FL impose a points deduction that will virtually relegate them they will be doing both Portsmouth and football in general a favour. Football because they will be seen to be doing something and Portsmouth because they will not need players like Lawrence and Kitson on 20k a week in Div...
They havent had any points deducted yet as they are not in administration until after the court hearing on Friday was how I understood it from Meridian.
The problem is who decides who are their valuable players the only way it could be done is to take action against their biggest earners but then you may fall foul of employment laws and contracts if the FL said their maxumum wage would be reduced.
I would agree with that as a solution but would add a 12 month transfer embargo on clubs going into administration. The club would then have to apply for it to be lifted after the 12 month period and it only be granted subject to their satisfactory financial conduct. By doing this the...
They will now sign some premiership high earners on loans for the season and try to get the points back. I think that with the admin should come a proviso from the FL that they cannot sign any more players, either permanent or loan, not only them but any club that enters admin.
The only thing Pompey fans care about is whether or not they can shout their mouths off about getting back into the Prem were they think they belong. Whether they actually continue to exist in any division doesnt seem to come into their thinking.
I realise that about Swindon but is there no way that the FA can lump the inability to control their finances into a similar pot and relegate them to the bottom division even if it created a precedent. I dont think they would be able to contest it in court because it would probably need an...
I think that if they go into administration if the rules permit they should be relegated to Div 2 . Swindon where relegated to the bottom division under slightly different circumstances but basically it was for financial irregularities, which is the same as Portsmouth. That would at...
