I love the 'parroty error' joke (not trumpet blowing - I didnt invent it). When I heard it I thought it was the most perfect joke I'd ever heard. Parroty vs Parity, 'Pieces of eight' being what parrots say, and a parity error being defined pretty much as 'one of your eight bits is missing'...- Arthritic Toe
