Yea - apologies. Idiot was inappropriate. It is all old ground of course - but there for the grace of God where predatory snatchers are involved. They simply made an error of judgement and the punishment was not proportional. We all make mistakes - but they were the ones who got caught out. And...

It was not their fault. The person to blame was the person or persons who took the poor child. If you think it was their fault - the charge stands.

Idiot. To expand - it is difficult to know what precautions you can take against predatory child-snatchers. Most of us get away with stuff that other poor unfortunates do not.
