10,000 die-hards rattling around the Amex would be INFINITELY preferable to 20,000 made up of a load of newbies.
I'd still be surprsed if as many as 700 went yesterday, but as others have mentioned, it could just have been an accumulation of other entitlements which were sorted on the day. I'm sure they won't be selling 700 a day every day.
So people unable to attend a presentation in their window can instead jump to the very front of the queue ahead of everyone else, and have the entire stadium to choose from, over the phone.
Hmmm....can't imagine that causing much of a binfest.
Whoops, beaten to it by Mo, but the same conclusion. Even if EVERYONE bought their maximum of 4, which is highly unlikely, there were stll not enough people on yesterdays presentations to sell 700.
40 people per presentation, each can buy up to 4 tickets each, so a maximum of 160 tickets can be sold per presentation
4 presentations yesterday, so thats 4 x 160 = 640, thats if every person who attended maxed out their +3's with their application.
So how does that equate to 700+ sold on the...
