Don't know if it's already been mentioned as i haven't read the whole thread, but if we are selling more 1901 seats, it means that the club has more money to spend on improving the squad (hopefully taking us onto even better things)
But could also help / enable the club to keep season ticket...
The club said that they would let fans pick where they sit when they buy their season tickets. Wouldn't it be a bigger PR disaster if they were then unable to do this? so isn't it better for them to wait until they were ready and able to deliver on this?
It has nothing to do with alienating...
And by the dark days do you mean the last few years of the Goldstone with its protests against the board? or do you mean home games at Gillingham? (can't imagine there are too many season ticket holders there to worry about)
