So there are NO managers who could do what Poyet has so far?
I don't think the problem would be losing Poyet as such, the problem would be that it would be yet another manager come and gone when we really need someone to build us up over a 2-3 year period.
Yes, but not to this. He could have had this without ever coming to us. He said he wanted to make it as a manager in England. Even when Zaragoza were supposedly interested.
It'll be a bit of an odd one if he does go.
Would be an odd move, he came saying he wanted to prove himself as a manager and get to the Premiership, leaving us to manage the Uruguay youth set up isn't exactly a step in that direction. :shrug:
