I don't recall EVER reading the phrase "should of ... " until internet forums arrived. It's not university-level English that is being asked for; merely a standard of English grammar that, within living memory, was achieved by ALL seven year olds.

The odd thing is that "would have" does manage to sneak in, even after an earlier appearance of "would of".
