Just got back! What a superb weekend. And a great victory by the only COMPLETE TEAM to get to Edgbaston. Everyone was IMMENSE when it mattered.

I remember doing precisely that when I was 18. Or maybe it's half remember.

BBC website says "White Cloud" in Birmingham on Saturday. The Met Office site says "Medium Level Cloud" until 4pm; then "Sunny Intervals".

Not this time ... Tickets arrived less than 24 hours later, by first class post.

I've just phoned the SCCC ticket office ... got through immediately ... ordered tickets ... paid by credit card ... total time of telephone call - 3 minutes 2 seconds. Marvellous.

How many of the tickets sold at Edgbaston went in advance to Warwickshire supporters expecting to want to be there? And at least some Sussex supporters got a look in, knowing the QF result. What about Lancashire or Hampshire fans? Not that we CARE, of course.
