I think it could be done too - with either the BIG flag or LITTLE flags - and I don't mind either - they'd both be fantastic...
What I thought would work best was to see someone organising a rota - so it doesn't fall to people like your goodselves each and EVERY away game (or home...
I don't think BAG meant it didn't look great, nor that people wouldn't want to donate to it, where the problem lies is in one of Lord B's posts a few pages ago. It wouldn't matter how good it looked, nor how much we donated to it, until the logistics are worked out (ie picking up, driving to...
Well forgive me US but you did say "I am suggesting" and "I am envisaging" and so I simply assumed that you would take charge and respond to any queries and or suggestions. I know YOU are not the REMF but you are the Chairman - if there is someone else who is in charge of organising, rallying...
Eh harsh? You mentioned that donations had stopped/slowed - I simply said if you had actioned (or at least responded to) some of the suggestions then you may get some more response, nothing happened for days so I assumed you didn't care? People seem to be happy to be involved again if the issues...
I've had it with all this frankly, until someone takes responsibility for this new flag, and I have absolutely no idea why Uncle Spielberg hasn't taken the bull by the horns, then I can't be bothered. I have offered time and again to get involved, even to store the thing (although we are in...
Would be nice for the club to be involved - but it is REMF's ultimate responsibility and for that I think Gareth should look to have some sort of storage, transportation and management of the flag underway before we all spend our money again...if the club were to help it would be above and...
I should think as Chief in Charge Uncle Spielberg should organise some sort of roster? Since its is the REMF flag - surely the "management" could help ensure we don't get in this dog-gone state again!!
Completely understand Brovian...and agree to be honest....I have already volunteered storage space in our lockup - albeit Shoreham but at the moment that seems better than Withers...and am quite happy to extend this offer to any new flag...
Great idea, I'm still happy to host it if needs be and the cleaners on the high street does "large" items which I can deal with. Also quite happy to be involved in a search party!!
Was it Brett who was organizing a group of people to go looking for the old one? Did we actually do that - I'd hate to think we all fork out some more money and its found. In fact I'd like to think we're unturned every box at Wothers before we go the route of a new one.
Could the last person...
Me too - I bumped the old thread a few times - but I don't think those "knew" where it used to be saw the thread...
Still quite happy to go looking and to store it...
