Yes I agree. Seems a pointless exercise.
But that said if it makes it less likely that there will be a judicial review then two weeks is no time to wait is it?
Have just heard from an informed source that decision will be an 'adjournment of 14 days' whereby all other sites will be looked at and then disregarded, hence leaving Falmer as a YES!!
This apparently is just to put the last case in place to try and avoid a legal challenge. Therefore I think...
My vote goes to Dowie. Did well at Oldham last year and given their problems this year has done well this season as well.
If not Dowie Andy Ritchie wouldn't be a bad choice either.
Anyone but Rix!!!
And just cos' I have to say this.....on the Coppell front, Helga told you so!!! :)
Sorry - meant to say, given that any idiot could work out that Coppell was going I hardly think he should be sacked for 'leaking'
After all no one believed it anyway did they!!
Sorry no more news. But it looks like I was right....so who is going to apologise for calling me a lier? And who feels bad for clapping the bastard on Saturday!
I told you all on Thursday he was going...and still people applauded him in the sad hope he might stay. Good grief!!!
There are very few managers who we could make BHA through and through. Liam Brady maybe, but I accept the comments made about him.
Ian Dowie could be good...and if the stadium...
DK always goes for horses for courses.
He will appoint someone who has had success in Div two or three.
Peter Reid does not fit this category.
All previous appointments, with the exception of the internal disasters have fitted this bill.
DK has never bought the 'must be Albion lover' type manager with the exception of Nobby.
I think he will go for the best man for the job and ideally an up and coming manager. Therefore Dowie is in the frame and so is Keith Curle. Probably rules out Kinnear though.
Oldham's message board reckon that Dowie is lined up to take over at Stockport or Northampton.
Given that DK must know Coppell is going I guess part of the reason why he is trying to hurry the decision is to get Dowie in if and when Coppell goes.
Losing Coppell would be even more annoying if...
Not bitter and twisted. Just didn't see the point of making a big deal for a manager who after one year with us has decided he wants to leave thats all. No drama!!!
Dowie sounds good and I have heard this too from a different source. Although I have also heard that Knight approach the Mansfield manager...Keith Curle. ???
This concurs with what I heard on Thursday/Friday and why I didn't clap Coppell on Saturday. Goodbye and good riddance.
Have also heard Dowie is a favourite with Knight, although I understand he is considering approaching Keith Curle at Mansfield as well. A strange name to come out, but I have...
I won't care when he goes. He has shown that he is not bothered about Brighton by talking to Reading. If he doesn't go now (which I think he will) then he will probably next time.
He blames the ground...but what is so different from when he joined and also when he agreed to stay in the summer...
