Personally I think we are ok and have cover in positions without having to go to "untried" youngsters unless things get even worse on the injury front (which obviously is possible) - but we have been EXTREMELY unlucky in that department - this graphic was from early Jan, so it is even worse now...
I assume you mean 7 points out of possible 36 against the top 6?
If you are referring to the "Big 6" then we have already got 7 points out of a possible 12 this season...
Worse is that three of those free kicks were by errors by the goalkeeper...
Gross against Everton - went through Pickfords hands pretty much, and wasn't in the corner
Dunk against Liverpool - Quick thinking yes, but Allison should never have let it happen
Welbeck against Forest - Wasn't in the...
It'll never be stamped out of the game... others do it, and I'd imagine some even train to do it successfully (draw fouls, not dive)
Murray was an absolute master of it, Veltman with his dark arts degree is also unrivalled - it is part of the game, and will be so for many years to come I am...
This needs it's own thread... the "What have you shouted or heard shouted at a particular player in a moment of sheer frustration, usually fuelled by alcohol"...
Exhibit A - "PEEEAKKKEEEE - Why don't you F off back to Rochdale you C" when taking a corner in front of the North Stand.
Exhibit B -...
Carlito's Way is a superb film... and on the subject of Pacino, I also enjoyed Scent of a Woman and Insomnia although not sure if they are underrated or not...
Don't we want Liverpool to win the whole thing, so that the European places go down to 8th (If Chelsea/Fulham win and not in Top 7 then it only goes down to 7th I think?)
All assuming of course that England gets enough coefficient points to get that 5th Champions League spot...
If Hinshelwood at 18 can come out of the u-23s and be Premier League ready, or Ferguson at 18… I could go on…. Then I am sure Barco who has been playing for one of the best teams (if not the best team) in South America can too…
I don't put this loss on Geno, I think the injuries on the OL and therefore the changes had taken their toll (as they had played above expectations prior) and it all came home to roost on Sunday, where Geno wasn't allowed to get any rhythm or time to do anything (and when he did have time his...
At half-time I thought we were ok... Geno seemed to be doing ok apart from missing Bobo open on the flea-flicker and the defense had held the Rams to 7 without looking great...
Then they completely shat the bed... I dread to think how bad it could be if our two tackles are out for an extended...
Has anyone considered that Baleba might end up being the RB in the system we play - much like Caicedo was in the latter stages of last season? He has the pace, can get box to box, can defend and also will tuck into the middle seamlessly?
