Being in charge of the "football" side of things was always going to be a bit of a poisoned chalice for Ratcliffe the way things were going. I think the Glazers have pulled off a masterstroke. They've made him something of a lightning rod, while they get a relatively easy ride.
I'm glad it's at home. Whenever they start playing that Bubbles crap at WH I get an irrestible urge to insert my thumbs into some imaginary braces and do an exaggerated Cockney walk on the spot.
We've been the epitome of mid-tableness-ness for most of the time, which never makes for the most exciting of seasons (cup excluded). Its been a par season I'd say, but I can't get lathered up over it - God knows I've tried.
I'm getting Bruce Wayne/Batman vibes with those two.
